Hi Lina, We stayed at the Bali Garden Hotel March 2004 and the standard is very good for 3 stars. Rooms are fine size, furnishings ok, service good, breakfasts fantastic, grounds good, pool good, great location, beachfront, close to Kuta Square.
We paid for the room on our package but when my daughter tried to extend her stay there the room rate at reception was ridiculousy expensive, maybe us$50 per night, crazy....the internet quotes around US$40 - 50.
The Nagasari is close by, on Jl Bakungsari and I think its room rate is aud$20 per night, http://www.nagasari.homestead.com/
