With a built in memory card you may be able to take up to 15-25 photos before downloading. Thats no good!
I highly recomend you to buy at least one memory card of 64mb, very minimum, 128bk ok, or 256mb assuming you buy a 3.2mp camera.
There are a few internet cafes around Bali which provide the memory card readers and will download your photos on to cd. I have personally used Nengah at the Legian Cyber cafe in Jl Sahadewa and he has stored my accumulated photos on to the hard drive and burned one cd when I was leaving. Cost 25000rp for him to supply the cd and burn it for me! I also found a place in Ubud, a few doors along from Casa Luna Cafe.
I also agree with Sunnybanker in suggesting you buy a 3mp camera as a good allrounder. You will need to arrange battery charger for rechargable batteries (disposable are too expensive and you will need to carry too many).
The only leads that I take to Bali with me is the one to plug into the TV to playback photos off the memory cards, before I have them copied on to cd.
Digital photography is so different to SLR but in time so fantastic adn versatile!
