karenl .... your a woman after my STAG heart.

I wish we could head off to Bali together, with our oversize
suitcases in the over head lockers, our red cordi packed / wrapped in
our pool towels (because were not sure if the hotel will supply),
our VoA cash ready (is that AU$ or Euro's we need to have ?? - I can
never remember), our credit cards at the ready to get out a mix of
US$, AU$ and Rp out of the ATM's (where are they all again ??), our
list of the best things to do in Bali (sinter's list from the BTF
should keep us busy for a while), some Melbourne bottled water (not
that stuff from Adelaide .... better take heaps just in case it's not
available in Bali), Colleen's list of the best hotels to stay at
(make sure we have the list that shows who has the best toilets, the
ones where you don't need to squeeze in between the bath and the wall
unless we pack the vas), take our own calico bags for shopping (must
make sure we get a mix of white, black and white, and red bags so as
to confuse the local traders as to our spending habits), the name of
the cooking shool in Ubud (cant remember the name of it, must post a
question on BTF before we go), visit Nuri's and see if we can meet up
with the Prince of Flaming Coconuts for some fiery sambal and discuss how to export furniture out of Bali, make sure we get our seating
allocation from Denpasar before going to the airport (because it will
save us an extra min at the airport when we check in to leave), skip
together over all the bumps and cracks in the footpaths, have a drink
(Bintang !) together at this place called S&S (I thought that was
something to do with leather), speaking of leather, we must go down
Herb-bread lane and get ourselves a matching pair of leather pants
each (now was that Dolphin Leather or French Leather ?? ... must post
that question on BTF as well before we go), and finally after we have
bought heaps of t-shirts & shorts (which we will most likely never
wear back in Australia), woodcavings, and bongo drums (are they allowed
into Australia ?? ... another question for the BTF) we arrive at the
airport where we have to check in our bags ~ OMG - your bag is 37 Kg,
is that allowed ?? (BTF again). You then ask me would it have been
better if I took the sleeves and disc's out of the 165 DVD's to reduce
the weight !

Finally back in Oz (no one on BTF told us Garuda Flt No. XYZ123 had
to go via Sydney - god that forum's useless) we walk up to customs
where they confiscate 164 copies of Shrek2 - they leave us with just 1.

Driving home, we spot tam_tas2004 on the side of the road (she is lost apparently)
so we pick her up. Back at our shack, Jake sits waiting to hear all
our trip news (we know we can tell him anything and he will believe
us), BJC is on the couch passed out on silly pills, and TonyG is in
the kitchen making us a home coming Spam roast dinner.

And where do we live I hear you ask - 69 STAG St of cause (or is that Jl Stag ?)
