Wrote huge spiel on Aston and then got logged off as I posted it and lost it!!
In brief..we stayed in a suite around Sept last year (upgraded by Hotel) loved the bathroom, being a bathroom nut. Lovely Hotel, gorgeous pool and lovely 5 star Spa (in style and price!!)
Beach not too special, breakfast usual Bali buffet.
Our suite had a huge balcony..could have held a party on it. If possible we will always request sea view. Take our binoculars and watch the seafaring life pass by (particularly good in a seaview room at the Mercure in Kuta)
At the end of the day we prefer the Legian/Seminyak area and were happy to move to Kumala Pantai for our 2nd week. Guess we like our comfort zone.
Great value Hotel if you like the area.
