I thought the pool area of the Masa Inn was OK but didn't go that much on the rooms, especially up higher. Didn't like the safe in your room which I thought could just be pulled open. As we had a fair bit of money in donations we didn't like taking that risk.
Just a few little things, noise in the next room (although that can happen anywhere).
Bali Sanday had air con. Pool was quite big. kiddies pool, swim up bar (but only sold beer and softdrinks) no cocktails, but I think once it gets known I think it will be very popular. My friend had met the wife of the Manager so he gave us the room for 175,000 rp night including breakfast for 2. I am sure you can negotiate a price. Breakfast was American breakfast or Indonesian breakfast.
We usually had lunch around the pool, jaffles were 8500 rp and club sandwich 10000 or 12000, can't remember, but quite cheap.
Can't say enough about this hotel for the price and I think it will only get better. air con. was good and the balconies on each verandah were quite big. Hope this helps.
