Antique: noun [C]; something made in an earlier period and collected and valued because it is beautiful, rare, old or of high quality.

While we did not visit any 'gold shops', I can say that the Silver Factory Outlets in Celuk, had a lot of beautiful jewellery that would certainly fall into the 'antique style / look', mind you it was very expensive.

There is a lot of cheaper jewellery available all over Bali, however while not being an expert, being a bloke and all, it did appear to me that you get what you pay for! {;o)

The Hardy Grosir in Sanur had a very good selection on the second floor, it is supposed to be 'fixed price', however if you ask if there is a discount for cash or the like you may get it cheaper, hope this helps.
