If as Cracker suggested you fall into the S.T.A.G cataqgory then you can reduce the number of key strokes in your ever helpful reply by posting S.T.A.R in the subject field (Search The Archives Reply). This then alerts the poor poster and stops them from having to read your reply hoping to have an aswer to the question and to check the Archives. Perhaps posters could pre-empt there questions with S.T.A. Scared To Ask, that way the STAG's can automaticaly reply with STAR without having to read the post.
