We stayed there in june.Nothing wrong with it and would recommend it.Walk to kuta beach was 10min tops and that stopping to look at shops on the way. Very handy to Waterbom water park, we walked there and back twice and it was fine.If you go out the back way thru the lane you come to THE PUB, its a great little pub that shows all the footy(AFL,RL,RU you name it)we watched the state of origin there and it was tops. Across the rd from Bakung Sari is the best satay I have ever tasted in my life. Warung Muslim right on the corner it has a green wall. 10 sticks for 5000rp,clean quick and great food.
Going back next year and taking my kids will stay at Bakung Sari again,its only a bed and believe me Im the biggest scrooge.I'd rather have more spending money!!
