I had the wipes and it was the first time I tried to smuggle vino in so I don't know if I would have had the courage to wipe them off if it came down to it. Apparently people do. If I was going to do it I had planned a quiet - tsk tsk tsk, look what they did to my new suitcase! - sort of thing
