I have stayed at both and my favourite is the Barong, because it is quieter, cosier which creates a far better atmosphere amongst the guests and lastly, all of the staff are excellent. Bounty is also great value for money. Some of the rooms by the back pool are in need of TLC, but if you want a decent nights sleep ask for a room at the back as the front pool is open 24 hours and can get really noisy. Food at the Bounty is excellent and so are the cocktails during happy hour!!! Better pool area than the Barong, staff are hit and miss, not as good as the Barong. Both places are in the best location, close to Jalan Legian for restaurants, shopping and nite life and close to the beach. Hope this helps you decide, either way you'll have a fantastic time because your in bali!!!
