I've visited both very recently on the same day. I personally wouldn't want to stay at either as too big and all prices are in US$ but both are beautiful hotels. I loved having a look and a drink at each. The Conrad is newer and looked busier. It is on the water sport beach so lots of activities. Pools/water everywhere and very chic.The GM is from Perth.
The Intercontinental has huge grounds and gardens, just to get to the pool is a hike in itself. Very peaceful(ie quiet) Remember only this side gives you the sunset Your choice water sports or romance ??
