Re BGH
We've been to Bali a few times before and have stayed at Jayakarta, Mandira, patra jasa. The kids are now a bit older 13 and 15 and just too big to be in the same rooms as us, so we have opted to go a less expensive to give everyone some space, ie BGH
Selected BGH because it seemed like a great location and the archive posts and Mics seemed to indicate it was reasonable, albiet a bit noisy.
We have booked/confirmed a deluxe room on the ground floor near the pool. If we were staying a week or so I wouldn't be worried but we are staying three weeks. Because one of the kids either uses sticks to walk or a wheelchair we tend to hang out around the pool a fair bit.
Are you talking about BGH being the Pitts or do you think you just struck it at a bad time? Others seem to think its OK but your experience is more recent.
