Hope all the road works out the front have been finished and have all been completed, as mentioned a few months ago, are still going. Concerning wheel chairs, only just got back and if using a wheel chair there would be only one exit, going through a lot of water on foot paths and being splashed by traffic going past.Hopefully this will not be there when you get there. It WAS disgusting. Lifts had a break down which we experienced when we were there,lasted for nearly 7 days, so ask for a room on reception level at the back, in the front, as said for months you still get the noise from 10pm til when ever they close, we stayed facing the ocean and could still hear the noise, good luck. I will try to show photos of rapids in front of bgh shortly.
