in a 2 bedroom apartment there and found the place to be a bit big for our liking. The apartments are ok but needed maintainence such as electrical fittings and plumbing bits and pieces.
Have stayed in hotels since with around 70-100 rooms and found them to be much more personal and friendly.
The jayakarta seems to attract a lot of germans and italians and the pool areas are normally very busy and, as anywhere with germans the pool lounges are taken very early for the whole day because they seem to like only sunbaking all day and not seeing the country they are in from our experiences.
Good pools for kids but as i said,we thought a bit big and easy to lose them
