A rice massage is, believe it or not, a massage with rice.
The rice is soaked in fragrant oil for a couple of days and then rubbed into your skin. As this is being done, it removes the dirt, salt and dry skin that accumulates even with regular washing. Your skin is tingling and super smooth after a rice massage. I have one halfway through my stay and then another a day or two before leaving Bali.
Sue works on the beach in front of the Jayakarta (at the northern end of Legian) under the hibiscus trees. She is always very careful to make sure that you get no sand on you and she is a beautiful, spiritual woman who is great to talk to during the massage.
I won't tell you what I pay because I have been going to her for quite a while - work out a price with her that you feel is fair.
