My sister and I have just got back and we upgraded at the airport for $150 return. We paid by credit card and it was worth every cent. The seats are bigger, which is great for the larger people like us, and the leg room, complete with extendable foot rest, was great. You get economy service but they allow you 30kg of luggage on your return which was the selling point for us shopaholics. Between us we actually had 80kg of luggage on the way back and they authorised it as okay so we didn't have to pay excess. I think this was probably because we had paid the upgrade. Either way it was well worth it for us. We'd definitely do it again. I think some people managed to get free upgrades but we didn't mind as we were guaranteed all those things for our money We'd say do it for sure! Enjoy!!!
