We have stayed there twice. It was a great introduction to Bali in that the its a bit out of the busy areas - like Kuta. We enjoyed the hotel when the children were smaller but as they got older they wanted to run around alot more so we have stayed in Legian twice in more family orientated hotels. We had a loft suite which was very roomy and comfortable. Get your breakfast included as is it expensive to eat in the hotel. Only costs a few dollars to get a taksi into Kuta or Legian to eat your dinner. Also when we first started going to Bali there weren't so many of the seafood restaurants there. But all you have to do is walk off the grounds at the beach and there are loads of seafood restaurants for dinner. Some are so expensive now, and this month we couldn't believe that in 16mths they had increased so much. Great sunset tho.
And compared to Australian, still reasonable prices.
Hotel had great pools but because of its size everything seems to have a little walk to get to. The kids club (if you have little ones) was fabulous then. The staff dressed our youngest up in traditional costume and took both boys fishing and they baked bread in the kitchens. We enjoyed it both times but our kids are older and want to behave (noisily) and run around more.
