is Gala- Gala or underground house. Is on Nusa Lembogan Island. The area of the cave is about 500 metres square under the ground.Made Byasa built the house. He had lost in gamling and feared for his life as well as his family"s life. So he built the underground house which he started in 1961 and finished in 1976. Made was 75 yeras old and worked day and night to build the house. It has 7 entrances. The cave is complete with a well, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and a sitting room.
make sure that you dont bump your head onthe stone roof if you visit. It is certainly something different to see. even chairs are carved into the stone underground.
We paid 5,000 rph for each person to enter the cave- after the starting price was 20,000.
You can take photos underground- just make sure that the flash is on. Ventalation is good and it is not pitch black- so dont be afraid to enter.
