But I reckon they are one of the better airlines. Compare their service to Qantas and no comparison. Sure, sometimes the drink trolley may be slow but you can walk up to galley and they will give you as much as you want. Try doing that on Qantas. To make Garuda look even better, compare them with Air NZ. Planes are much much newer, staff a lot younger and friendly. (I reckon from Perth the Air NZ planes belong in the Museum and cabin crew should be retired off) Best local airline I reckon is Virgin Pacific - young planes, young staff whereas Virgin Blue I think are stuck in no mans land - trying to be a big airline without the goodies. Give me Garuda or Air Paradise any day
