and spent xmas day at waterbom part (which was fabulous). Our 7 & 8 year olds also enjoyed the Elephant Park, Zoo and Bird Park. Our youngests highlight was playing chess with the locals.
We allowed $300 per day ($3k total) as we were buying xmas presents too- which was PLENTY for the 4 of us and came home with about $1,500 change. This included 3 x leather jackets, "Leadlight" Lights, DVD/Xbox games, Pearls, Drums, Silver, Watches, the usual stuff AND Xmas presents for family back home.
Our kids had also saved their "own" money and had a ball after they settled in...(it took our lad a few days to realise the Balinese were "okay") haggling for their own wares.
This year..we leave on the 29th...we plan to do white water rafting and one of the balihai cruises and of course, waterbom park.
