Hi Sally and Pete,

I have only been to bali once. I flew garuda and they were not diffent than any other airline. Although as they do the talking in indonesian first and then in english its hard to tell between it.
Food was fine except we were nearly in bali by the time we go it.
I am going again soon on garuda.

Clothes. My friend and I shopped in Mataharis in kuta. Just loved all the kids clothes. Cheap as anything and only one of the t-shirts fell apart. When we were there t shirts in Mataharis were cheaper than the market. Better quality as well, without having to fight for the price. My son is still wearing gear we bought 18 months ago. They also have kids shoes as well. They had beautiful little girls shoes as well. I dont have a girl but they were just so cute!!
Kuta Kids also has nice stuff as well but from memory more geared towards smaller children.

We are going to go to Mataharis again and there is also another department store called Ramayana in Denpasar. That is suppose to be like Mataharis as well.

When are you going? I can give you feed back when I get home.
16th August we return. How old are your kids and are they boys or girls. I am going with friends and we have a mix of boys and girls from a 1 year old to 13 year old.

As far as dvd goes there are heaps of posts further down you can get info from. Sakura seems popular.

Hope this helps.

Caz
