Sucks and is a rip off.. Although pre 2002 you could get a great crowd there... Haven't heard of the same vibe there for ages though.
Bounty is the pick for what you are after.
Dewi Sri can be good... Again, crowd dependant... And in the Bounty chain so same sort of benefits and cheap.
Camplung Mas has good reports. But, older and budget. And a fair bit dependant on crowd.
Jayakarta can be good - but a little more expensive than the others.
As long as you are central - accomodation isn't hugely important - it's just where you start and finish (sometimes :)) the night.
