Then start looking for Losmen's/Homestays.
You will see signs up saying room for rent etc, check the rooms out & bargain a price for the entire month will be cheaper to do that & then spend a few days around the Island than paying for a week at a time!!!!
Then start talking to other tourists to find places your interested in seeing/doing etc!!!
