I always bring overload of clothes and goodies. My daughter worked for a discount chain and I got hundreds of hair ties, clips etc and took them over. We help a few individuals.
Being a teacher, there are always books, pencils, chalk etc "spare".
I did a bit of teaching in May and would love to go for an extended period and do more.
I can't forget my 2 sponsor children. It's the most rewarding experience. I have visited twice now and am looking forward to seeing them grow each time I visit. If you don't sponsor a child please consider it. It's great to know ALL the money goes to help those in need. Look at the website for info.
