I think especially after your children grow and leave home that your pets become even more special. I have an incredibly strong maternal instinct and since I cant have grandchildren at this time (although I have done my time, and deserve to have them!) then I really love my pooches! Poor ole Jackie boy, not old really, nearly 6!
I will love to meet your girls in a very short time!
