I like the idea of the verandah with a view of the ricefields and of course a nice pool for Jess. Close but not in the middle of the main centre is fine as I will have a bike to cruise around. Normally I have stayed in the centre because I haven't had transport.
Also I want to send Jess on a massage/facial/wax etc. Do you recommend the Zen centre for this. We have heaps of masages etc in Kuta, however I would like it to be a nice place for her when we are in Ubud. Sort of a two week long splurge for her birthday.
