but the Tegal Sari is beautiful. It's set amongst the rice paddies, has really friendly staff, really inexpensive food, the rooms are cheap & lovely with great bathrooms, the gym is outdoors & overlooks the rice paddies, as does the pool, they provide free transport around Ubud for the duration of your stay and they have a great rice paddy trek run by one of their staff that is fantastic. We stayed there in June for 5 nights & it will definately be the place we'll stay at in future whilst we're in Ubud. It's owned by locals, run by locals and you just feel so welcome there.
