When we were there in May only 20% of the shops were open and most of the restaurants were still open. The talk was that the Galleria was going to close and a total refurbishment to be done. Don't let this stop you from staying in Nusa as you can get free transport up to Tanjung Benoa to the restaurants there from the restaurants themselves. It is only a 25 mins trip into Kuta.
