A mate of mine got caught with a Bali copy after he downloaded a lot of updates. I don't know what version he was using but I do know that some of the first versions needed a second serial after a certain amount of time. He just keept "Ignore" the what is the serial number and it shut him down. Could not even get into windows. It was some time before it shut him down but now is the time for those to look for a second serial number. It is a small number if I remember right of about 6 digits a space and then another 3 or 4. Not the original type serial number. Me I am using XP Pro without updates and no problems.
