No, this was our first time at the Sativa and we were happily oblivious to any intrigue. We loved it though .... big clean rooms, no funny smell, hot, strong showers, cold fridge, comfy bed, great outlook (we had an upstairs room with a balcony ... 216), great breakfasts. The staff were all really friendly ... Anton, Newman, Newman, Dewi, Krisna etc etc. We'll definitely go back. I think you could pay a lot more and get a lot worse!! Sorry I can't help with the goss!
