In april we stayed at MBR but called in at Rama Garden as we had stayed there many times previously without children. I thought it looked really nice with the upgrades they had done. I am also thinking it would be probably be a good hotel to stay at for location next time in bali as the children are now 7 and 9. For Younger children the the pool is just to close to the rooms. However I don't think it is really a family hotel. AS mentioned the rooms are all around the pool and there isn't lawn or space to run around and play. The hotel staff were always super friendly and helpful, the location is brilliant. If you want to spend lazing around the hotel this probably isn't a good hotel but if you are out and about it might be ok.
