Yes they had silver edging and shell in the middle. I also bought a little silver dragonfly with a purple jewel and my sister bought a different shell one and one that was silver and black and very stylish. You can buy them at virtually any market stall, they have them in glass boxes out the front and just check they are stamped to make sure its real silver. not everywhere has the same pendants though, so you have to look around.
