hi
I did a bit of a mention of this hotel further down but will do more.

I have stayed there many times over the last 2 years have been 9 times so.....

I have stayed in many rooms. They have done renavations on rooms by the pool.
It is more of a family hotel as stated only one pool with a kiddies end. They have swim up bar and are not too fussed if u have ur own dinks there.
They have massge on offer but i hve not used this I've been told they are pricy.

The rooms are not huge. They have:

bar fridge (i take out contents and put in wardrobe and stock my own)
safe in the wardrobe(not u, your passport ect)
upstairs rooms only have showers newer rooms have bath as well.
stocked daily shampoo,coffee ect
have open area with pool table
TV with 24 hour movie channel

Staff are trust worthy and friendly. will help with requests such as extra towels and pillows

Across the road is a new club for those that care the old Bounty has been pulled down as it nearly fell down any way..
There is also a supermarket does not sell Bintang as Muslim owned.
A Kodak shop about 5 shops away for money change.
Peanuts is 5 mins the other way. I have friends that work there and go for a daily chat...

There is always security out front they were there before the bomb.

Food i have never had brekky after late nights ok early mornings i am never awake so can't tell u.
I have had a couple of room service meals and was fine.

We normally eat at the local markerts so u will need to find own local places.
The Crown is just up the road and that is ok Aussie owned.
Also a Italian place that I order pizza and have it delivered to Peanuts to hve with the Bintang. Tried to talk my friends at Peanuts to take one home cold for breakky they where not in it...

The Legian always gives me great service but as I said i have stayed there many times in the last 2 years.
Had one set back when a guy lost my bags from the trolly into the fish pond all clothes washed and pressed by the next morning. The sharpest my arrival cloothes have ever looked....
Hope that helps and to the guy that asked further down on the forum
