We stayed there last last September,8 of us are leaving Sept 6 for 16 days staying at the K.P.again,we love the place,when we were there last Sept it was only 12 months old,so we are looking forward to going back again.Kumala Pantai is a great hotel,the management keep their fingers on the pulse,each morning the general manager and his wife eat at 6the restuarant with the guests and does make the time too talk with the guests,as frar as walking to Kuta forget it,under normal circumstances a light blue taxi would cost you 6000 R.P.about 1 aust dollar,if you must walk I would reccommend a walk along the beach,a walk at your leisure would take you about 1/2 hour,good eating places are plenty,we found a nice restuarant called BALI QUI.11,it is just around the corner out the front entrance of the hotel on JI PURA BAGUS TARUNA(JI WERKUDARA)LEGIAN,we found we had too book as even though it was quite in BALI at the t6ime the place was very popular,happy hour starts at 5 until 8 large BINTAN only 9000 R.P.meals average 12000 15000 RP, if you want any more info lets know regards and have a good holiday in PARADISE lionel and anne
