After Tokyo seminar, first thing that comes to mind is to try one of those beautiful Balinese spa/massage treatments i keep hearing about. Go to search engine on this page, click, and type in key words of spa or massage, as there are prices for all budgets.
Little bit of culture - Go to Uluwatu for Kecak dance at sunset. (Lovely temple on top of a cliff with an amazing view.)
Once you're in Bali you will find there are many tour companies and you'll have no problems going on a tour to Uluwatu as a single person.
To get a feel for Bali just talk to Balinese on the streets or in your hotel. Daily life and rituals will be all around you , kiwi. :)
