good 15 min walk to central Kuta... maybe a little less. You are actually close enough to the shops, but also far enough away. We stayed a little bit closer than you and we found getting a taxi either into Kuta and walking home was good. Or walking into Kuta and getting a taxi back was good - only because we had a little one with us. Kumala Pantai is a very nice, very talked about place so you should love it.
