to take a small funnel to fill them with.We took these glad ice bags with us last October & had a few accidents with trying to fill them up without a funnel.
On our last trip I took a few of those small ice cube trays & found them easier for our son to use without making a mess.I picked a set We have found that normal ice cube trays rarely fit into the small freezers of the fridge in your rooms but these small sized ones were great.We have also found that in some hotels the freezers do not get cold enough to allow for wate to freeze.
