I have ice with just about everything I drink, and I didn't have any problems using ice in Bali on my last trip inJune/July. But isn't Barwon's suggestion a goodie, especially as the bags would make more ice than those little icetrays in one's hotel fridge?
I did hear that all the ice in Bali is supposedly government regulated now, and remember passing a factory somewhere by Jimbaran Bay that was "spewing out" ice down a long chute - or that's what the driver said it was!
