Secret Garden is at the Melasti End of Jalan Legian in Kuta. If you were standing at the Melasti Legian intersection and headed about 100metres back along Legian (toward Kuta) it's down a lane on your right. There's a sign out on Legian that I missed about three times. Hope that is clear. There site is www.secretgarden-bali.com
I would make a reservation for Ketupat and Kories just in case. Doing it in person you get to pick where you sit and this makes all the difference at both places. Maybe sneak in book them and surprise your wife.
As for the Kecak dance it is on Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat only. Just roll up but maybe visit GWK first as it's on the way. There is a charge for both but not much. Well worth it.
Unless you wife is disabled in some way I'd take her white Water Rafting. OUr group randged from 7 to 53 male and female and it was great. The 7yr old didn't paddle, that was the only restriction.
