PS2 (chipped) and our big DVD player and none work for Spiderman2 and a couple of others. Cinema copies play but are bad copies and we had spcifically said we were not interested in cinema copies.
I have heard that the cheaper DVD players (eg the $69 specials from say Tandy,) will play anything! Might need to invest in one of these.
I guess I should also add that we are able to make our own backup copies of DVD's (and just as well too because one of our Aust original DVD's got sprayed with fly spray in Bali and is now useless!)
and these copies are excellent so maybe we are comparing Bali quality with this.
