"Just I don't know of anyone that would blame others for a drowning, "
have you heard of anyone who would blame the coffee of McDonald's is too hot that would burn his or her tounge?
Nevertheless, I hope the family and friends of the victims are not after money, and personally I don't think they are. The reason is that, if they are after money, they could have and should have lauched a much more aggressive campaign. They would have gone through a tabloid which many people in the Taiwanese forum had suggested. But they didn't.
My personal opinion, they might want to raise the awearness of travel safety, they might be after a safer swimming environment, or they might even want the tour operation be more regulated and pick up more responsibility in the future. Maybe they want to prevent similar situation happan, again, through the same tour company, at the same location?
I think, they are very sad about losing their loved one. They are angry about somebody could have helped, but no body did. They are probably also angry about how the flourishing tourism business at Bali have created so many tours, tour guides, and hospitality service that should have put their customers at first, instead, they put their customers at risk.
My opinion.....
