On the last day of our trip to Bali (June this year), we met up with one of the hotel staff (porter?) at the KBC who happened to mention he was a diabetic. My husband also being a diabetic was asking about the costs of needles and insulin etc. Imade told us he had to pay for his needles (ours are free through the Diabetes Assoc) and he also pays a lot more for his insulin than it costs here. We thought we could help out by sending over some needles for him, (if nothing else). My question is... does anyone have more info on Diabetes/Diabetics in Bali. Is what we've been told true? I hate to be sceptical but would be more than happy to help out, if we are actually helping out people that need it!
