There are heaps of popular clubs and pubs in the Kuta/Legian region. Best thing to do is when you get there, speak to the younger folk about where they go at night etc.
I will be arriving in Kuta on Monday with a couple of mates, and let me tell you, Kuta would have not seen such bad dance floor moves since the Great German tour of 1985.
