My son brought his from Matahari for about $120Au (I don't know if this was any cheaper than buying it at home, but he just HAD to have it!!! Spent all his holiday money in one day, lol) and the new Pokemon Ruby game cost him about $27 Au (which I know is quite a bit cheaper than buying it at home. All of his other games from home work in it, so at a guess, I'd say that they are universal. Hope I'm not wrong, lol!
