My husband is a keen cyclist as well, he looked up the "yellow pages" for bicycle shops and found one listed at Tuban. He got a taxi there, shop had closed down. So as far as I can tell, it is easier to buy bike gear elsewhere. We have been 4 times and I think he has not managed to buy any gear there. He always buys something from everywhere we go but not Bali, we only returned last week.
