We got back 3 weeks ago,, we stayed at "hotel Camplung Mas' which is just off Melasti street (legian/Kuta border).We hired a dvd from the dvd shop just up the alley way from our hotel... where we brought heaps of dvd's from.. The first week we payed 175 000 which worked out to be around $30 aus, the second week we told them that our sister only paid 120 000 somewhere else so we only paid 100 000 from the same guy, which was about $16.00. You can virtually hire a dvd from most dvd shops.. but you have to bargain with them....and tell them you'll buy lots of movies from them....and make sure you do, cause they don't forget... we got movies from heaps of different shops and they are all good. It's handy to have a hire dvd, cause then you can take the movies back to your room and test them out and if some dont work you can take them back and they'll exchange them for you, as long as you let them know.. saves hanging around the dvd shop for ages and testing them there...most shops sell dvd's for 10 000 each or otherwise you might pay 15 000 each but you buy 5 or 10 and get one free...
