now that is a strange request to someone like me.I have the exact opposite problem upstairs but I can help you.
I know exactly where you should go.Start at the Nagasari hotel ( up from the art markets) in Jalan Bunkungsari & walk away from the beach. Not too far up on the right hand side( same side as the hotel)there is a shop that sells separates of bikini's at very reasonable prices they seemed to especially stock smaller sizes. They also seemed to have heaps of really great specials in different baskets around the store. They were also good quality material. One thing I did forget to go back & buy there for our teenage son was the boy's boxer shorts. They had nice ones out for less than $2.Oh well there's always next time.
Everyone please keep in mind though this shop is mainly the smaller sizes ,mainly separates & virtually no one piece bathers so if that's what you are after go to the other shops I mentioned.
Sorry I didn't grab a business card for this place cause they didn't have what I was after.I just remember it was a very far walk at all away from our hotel.
The reason I didn't buy any thing for our daughter there was the majority of the stock is exactly that - separates & I wanted 2 new complete sets of bikini's for her.I had trouble finding anything much in the way that could be matched up as a set so I went to my usual girl in the shop on Jalan Legian that I mentioned before.
Hope this was of some help Caz & that you find exactly what you are after.BTW- I think the prices for piece of the separate top & bottoms started at about equal to $5 > $7 Aussie Dollars each so that sure beats $60.Even if you do go for some of the dearer ones in the store.
