I reckon you didn't drink enough Bintangs the other night, and maybe should have had a few strong araks as well. The drivel that you keep posting here astonishes me and I'm only responding because I think you're giving people the wrong idea about certain Balinese things.
How can you spend a couple of nights in Ubud and know anything? For instance, you mentioned you were going to another internet cafe down the road because the one you were using was too slow. There are LOTS of internet cafes around Ubud and some of them are as fast as you'll get anywhere in Bali. You make it seem like there are just two places to choose from.
As far as Cafe Lotus and Casa Luna are concerned, I'm glad you enjoyed their shit and overpriced food, although Casa Luna does make good bread.
I'm surprised that you haven't complained about mosquitos in Ubud...maybe there aren't any at the moment. But generally speaking, why wouldn't you expect mosquitos in a tropical turd-world country? And what's all this stuff about banging your own head on your own door? Maybe you should try again and bang it harder - it might make you wake up to yourself (but I doubt it).
And please stop rubbishing Japanese tourists...as someone else said, they have just as much right to be in Bali as you do. You don't own the place and never will (I hope).
