We can only comment on the Bali Sahid Hotel. Fifteen of us from the Saint Kilda Football Club stayed there for three weeks in October 1997 and had a great time. The resturants at the hotel were good especially the one opened twenty four hours. At four in the morning they had a full menu going. The resturant by the front pool was the best for breakfast,try the omelettes. Two good swimming pools with the front one being the most popular. The back entrance of the hotel takes you straight into Poppies Lane 2. Make yourself known to the security guards there, buy them a coca cola and they will look after you all the time. Out the front are plenty of bemos & taxis but negiotate a price first. The man that runs the pool bar & pool area is Budda. You cannot miss him as he is huge. He looked after us with cold beer etc. for our stay and turned out a good friend. If you want to know anymore email me Bagusbob@aol.com.
