Poppies is a great restaurant for atmosphere but i would not go there for the food only. I prefer to go for lunch at the bar to escape the heat of the day- sate ayam and nasih putih plus a mug of bintang. You need a booking for dinner, its worth checking out. And remember, never order any drink bigger than your head. If you want a great restaurant - atmosphere (particularly at sunset) and food, LaLucciola is the place.
